In August 2026, David Irimescu took part in the prestigious Vigo Piano Competition, judged by Martha Argerich (chair of the jury), Pablo Galdo, Stephen Kovacevich, Lilya Zilberstein, Paul Lewis, Robert Levin, Valerian Shukashvili and Mauricio Vallina.
